New product now available: Food grade Lactic Acid in powder form

B&G developed new lactic acid product – L (+) lactic acid powder (BANGICID Powder).

BANGICID Powder is the powder form of natural L (+) lactic acid produced by fermentation on a carrier made of pure calcium lactate. It is a white powder with the characteristic taste and flavor of lactic acid.
Because of the presence of calcium lactate and lactic acid simultaneously, BANGICID Powder maximizes the sensory stability of food products thanks to its buffering effect.
Besides its use as antimicrobial, BANGICID Powder also enhances cheese and dairy flavors making it a perfect ingredients for several dairy products. Easy to use due to its powder form, it’s an ideal product for instant salad dressings, onion cheese spreads, dry dairy products and snacks. Moreover, being produced from natural raw materials, it can be labeled as a natural flavoring agent.

BANGICID Powder exists in two versions: 55% lactic acid and 60% lactic acid contents.

FIC 2007- a success for B&G

The FIC 2007 held in Shanghai from March 28th to 30th has been a big success for B&G. More than 350 companies from domestic and overseas visited our booth and left their coordinates for further contacts. Most of these visitors showed great interest in B&G products.
