B&G launches a new packaging

B&G launches a new packaging. Initially foreseen for Japanese market, it is now available to all our customers. The "bag-in-box" is made of a flexible pouch in polyethylene inside a rigid cardboard box.

This alternative packaging offers the same rigidity and stackability than drums. Easy to use, it generates less wastes and helps avoiding contaminations as the cardboard box can be left outside the working area.

        B&G gets new Production License 

B&G has received State Industry Product Production License issued by General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of P.R. China (license nr XK13-217-00352).

This license has become mandatory in the case of 169 food additives including Lactic Acid by a new regulation implemented on September 1st 2005. The moment this new regulation has been issued B&G has launched all necessary actions to comply and was conferred the license on September 28th, 2006. This stresses again the great care that B&G puts in quality management.
